Jean Mandeberg

Jean Mandeberg is a visual artist, a faculty member at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, and a community arts advocate. Resumé.

She has received an Artist Trust Fellowship, her work can be seen in numerous public and private collections, and her work was most recently published in 500 Metal Vessels, edited by Marthe LeVan, Lark Books, Asheville, N.C.

International travel supports and stimulates her diverse artistic interests. She has attended the annual Radish Carving Festival in Oaxaca, Mexico (1995), Las Fallas Fire Festival in Valencia, Spain (2001), the Swiss Expo that hosted Diller & Scofidio’s Blur Building on Lake Neuchatel, Switzerland (2002), the Puppet Theatre Festival in Zagreb, Croatia (2006), and the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa (2009).
